The 63rd Annual Venice Film Festival will feature three films in which Harry Potter personnel are involved. In consideration for the Golden Lion prize are "Children of Men," directed by Alfonso CuarĂ³n (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and Brian de Palma's "The Black Dahlia," featuring actress Fiona Shaw (Aunt Petunia).
"The Magic Flute," directed by Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart), will also be screened at the Festival, but is not in consideration for the top prize, as it is from a director "already established in past editions of the Festival."
The Venice Film Festival will take place from August 30 - September 9, 2006.
