Muggle Net has been running a competition for readers to write their own opening page to HP Book 7. They now have the over 1000 entries knocked down to the top five. Here's Muggle Net's piece on the competition:
Write the Opening to Book 7 Competition Finalists
It started off with a pool of over 1000 of you, and now we've narrowed it down to five. MuggleNet's Write the Opening to Book 7 Competition is in its final stage - the fan voting. All of you are welcome to take the opportunity to place your vote for the winner. Voting will end at 12:01 AM CST on Tuesday, January 17th. Honorable mention winners will be posted soon. You can review prizes and competition information on our competitions page.Now to give credit where credit is due. A big thanks goes to Alivans for sponsoring the competition. Major props go to MuggleNet staff members Emily, Brendan, Ciaran, Helen and Tom for sorting through all 1,170 entries. They did an excellent job. A final thanks goes to everyone who took time to enter the competition. It was tough, but we could only choose five finalists.
