The character of Neville Longbottom will go through a transformation in the fifth Potter film, said Matthew Lewis, the actor who plays him, in a recent interview with PotterCast, Leaky's Harry Potter podcast.
"It almost comes off as a different character this year," he said of Neville. "He's not the Neville that we all know. He starts off that way then rapidly changes throughout the film. It's been a lot of fun. Definitely a change, but definitely a welcome one."
He also speaks of working more closely with the main group of Potter actors, the new screenwriter and director, the newer faces, and much more: check out PotterCast for a full preview.
These conversations and a huge amount more are included in the first of a three-part interview with Matt that will start airing on PotterCast early tomorrow.
(Thanks to those who've noticed that PotterCast.com is going through a slight identity crisis at the moment; the idiot who owns the domain - gee, I wonder who that could be - flubbed things up a bit. Get to PotterCast here in the meanwhile.
