MuggleNet Exclusive: Harry Potter Film Wizardry Book Trailer

Update: The book will be available for purchase from Harper (Harper USA, Harper Canada, Harper Australia, Harper New Zealand) and its worldwide distributors, as well as Random House UK in England. Just ask your local bookstore to order if you don't see it on store shelves!

Are you curious why Dementors glide the way they do or wonder how Hippogriffs fly? Did you ever want to meet the architect who created Hogwarts and learn how the moving staircases work? Have you ever wanted to take a look behind the magic?

Today, we'd like to share with you details on Harry Potter Film Wizardry, a book that provides a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Harry Potter film series. Read stories from the cast and crew (including Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint), see detailed production/concept sketches, and view lots of on-set photos.

MuggleNet has been given an exclusive 2-minute trailer of the book, which you can view right here! Be sure to check back in the coming weeks as MuggleNet will have special excerpts and great giveaways!

The foreword is penned by Dan, Emma and Rupert and the introduction is written by producer David Heyman. The book does include a look at the making of Deathly Hallows (as you'll see in the trailer) and the text was written by Brian Sibley, who has also worked on similar projects for Lord of the Rings and The Golden Compass.

Pre-order is available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

The book hits store shelves this October.
