With only five weeks in release in the U.S. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has surpassed Prisoner of Azkaban in box office receipts.
Prisoner was in theatres in the U.S. for over 17 weeks and garnered a grand total of $249.5 million, while Goblet of Fire has now reached $252.5 million after just five weeks, soon on it's way to pass Chamber of Secrets at $261.9 million.
Worldwide Goblet has taken in $707.9 million, well on track to overtake Prisoner at $789.7 million in worldwide receipts.
