Oldman Directs Jewish Hip-Hop Video

Gary Oldman is changing career paths - the legendary British actor is now a music video director.

But the star is not helming any old promo, he has turned his talents to Jewish hip-hop supergroup Chutzpah on their latest single, Red Rover.

"I like rap, particularly Jewish rap," he said.

"Chutzpah's amazing. They're brilliant. Master Tav's a genius and MC Meshugenah is so entertaining... I jumped at the chance to direct them in this video."

Gary and the band started shooting the video for Red Rover earlier this summer.

However, it is currently on hiatus, as Gary fits in his other job as Sirius Black in the new Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.

The track is described as the group's schoolyard battle song.

Filming of the video is due to resume in October when the 48-year-old star returns from the UK.
