Entertianment Weekly magazine's "Best of 2005" poll has closed. The results will be published in EW's end of year issue, but are now available online. Harry has trounced the competition in two categories! Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was voted Best New Novel of the Year with a whopping 80% of the 52,298 votes cast. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was voted Best Movie of the Year with 57% of the 56,615 votes in that category -- four times the percentage of its nearest competitor (Batman Begins).
