JK To Start Writing Final Potter

Potter author JK Rowling has revealed she will begin writing the final story of the boy wizard next year.

She says on her official website that she's drawn up a book plan and will start writing in January.

The millionaire says she can't wait to get started but has "mingled feelings of excitement and dread" because she can't imagine life without Harry.

Although JK Rowling may finish the book next year, it's unlikely that it'll be on sale in shops until 2007.

On her website, JK Rowling has started a diary page, where she writes about completing the Potter adventures.

She said: "I contemplate the task with mingled feelings of excitement and dread, because I can't wait to get started, to tell the final part of the story and, at last, to answer all the questions (will I ever answer all of the questions?

"Let's aim for most of the questions); and yet it will all be over at last and I can't quite imagine life without Harry."

She added that her book plan is like "the map of an unknown country".

The first six Harry Potter books have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide in more than 60 languages.
